5 Awesome Book Purses
On: Tuesday, February 5, 2013
Reading is a treasured pass time and one of the greatest things you
can do. There is nothing quite as satisfying as sinking into a story and
losing yourself to the plot, characters and excitement.
Which is something that fewer and fewer people are enjoying these days, the lack of appreciation of books depressing. Even with the creation of ereaders, which give us greater access than ever.
Why not do your part to show books some love? Check out these awesome purses that upcycle your favorites.
While the series is now over and done with, Harry Potter will go down in history as one of the most popular fictional worlds of all time. Order of the Phoenix is a favorite of many, and this Etsy seller is offering purse with custom fittings, buckles, straps and decorations using the cover. I have seen many other Harry Potter books used, with every title available.

3 DIY Projects to Create Romantic Light on Valentine's Day
On: Saturday, February 12, 2011
Do you like the idea of celebrating Valentine's Day on the cheap... or even for free? Making things for your beloved one is always so inspiring!
Here are three ideas for you to create romantic atmosphere using what you have (and don't need at home):
Create Romantic Light from Beer Can
All you need is one beer can and a candle - plus some imagination! Looks how some creative cutting creates absolutely stunning effect:
A Slide Lamp
This project is harder to implement but it would be surelly appreciated. Besides, you still have a day! (Via Recycled Crafts)
A Heart Lamp
This one is for geekiest of us. But if you have time and love playing with LED lights, you'll find the idea great!

Readers' Inspiration: Yogurt Container Cookie Cutter
On: Tuesday, February 9, 2010
Our very awesome reader D'angelo has another DIY gadget to pimp your creativity: a heart-shaped cookie-cutter made of a used yogurt container. This can be an awesome gift for your beloved on for Valentine's Day: first, it is hand-made (and so much valuable and appreciated) and secondly, this is practical: "I give you the cutter, you make me the cookie" :)
